Held Virtually

The 55th AMI Conference and General Assembly was held virtually due to COVID-19, though it had originally been planned for London. Forty-two participants from 15 nations across five continents attended, including four military bishops from the Netherlands, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The conference also welcomed representatives of three new participants and a new lay Catholic organization from the United Kingdom.

The theme was “The Declaration of London: a new step forward after the Declarations of Rome and Berlin.” Presentations confirmed that AMI’s activities and finances were in order, but the Vatican Dicastery directed that elections be postponed until the next in-person meeting in London.
